Entiendo, una Cruzada de Paz

At the end of January 2020, the team of MotoForPeace — a non-profit association made up of members of the police forces united by their passion for motorcycling — embarked on the humanitarian expedition Anonimi della Fede 2020.

The goal was to provide tangible aid in the form of medical supplies and donations to a number of struggling missions located in Chile, Argentina, Paraguay, Bolivia and Peru. The team consisted of nine motorbikes and two support vans — one of which served as our mobile office, the DooGReporter headquarters for the two months of the expedition and over 13,000 kilometres travelled.
We set off to document the mission, just as we had done in Africa in 2018.el 2018.

True to our style, we went deep — searching for the motivations that had driven a group of fourteen people to undertake a journey far from comfortable, across the demanding roads of South America. We shared with them every day for two months, every kilometre of those 13,000 travelled: the unforeseen events, the laughter, the encounters, the changes of route, the difficult decisions, the embraces, the emotion — and finally, the premature end of the mission as the COVID-19 pandemic began to spread.

We became witnesses to how this group grew, and how each embrace and handshake turned into a message of peace.
We gathered all of this in ENTIENDO, a docufilm that lays bare the most intimate thoughts of these people. The title stands in contrast to the familiar “¡No entiendo!” — so often used to cut short a conversation one prefers not to hear. With determination, we went all the way, striving to understand as much as we possibly could.
